Mining Equipment Mechanical Engineer

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
2. Background in design institutes, with experience in designing mining conveyors or technical modification projects is preferred.
3. Fluent in English, able to communicate effectively with Australian colleagues.
4. Proficient in using relevant mechanical design software for modeling.
5. Proficient in conveyor design standards and common conveyor design software.
6. Good health, meeting the physical examination requirements of the Australian mining industry.
7. Possess a domestic manual transmission driver’s license and be proficient in driving light vehicles.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect and record equipment operating conditions.
2. Develop maintenance plans, implement them, and control quality.
3. Formulate and implement equipment technical modification plans.
4. Prepare, optimize project plans, and develop quality control documents.
5. Analyze equipment performance and operational status, and prepare reports.
6. Design and draft conveyor engineering projects.
7. Other tasks assigned by superiors.
